The fellowship time is uncomplicated. We celebrate the Eucharist with the sole intention to seek God for his own sake. During the teaching, we reason with the most fundamental aspects of the Christian faith often explained in a very personal way. We show respect for God’s word, but also the listener’s ability and responsibility to seek God, hear his voice and apply the teaching in his or her own life.  As a Christian church, we have the same mission as Christians have always had, which is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples among men and women. The serious nature of Christian discipleship makes it necessary for every believer to receive support, exhortation and encouragement from the community of believers. Any fellowship of Ad Fontes is in first hand a spiritual community. Like the very first Christians, we have discovered the strength of being together.

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” (Acts 2:46)

In our fellowship, we want to find the strength to live a committed life as Christians in the circumstances each of us has to face in everyday life. Since we strive to allow the roots of faith to sink deep, in order to make intense discipleship possible, our fellowship with brothers and sisters in the faith must be concrete and personal. The normal form for our fellowship is the study/prayer groups in the homes (usually once a week) as well as close relationships that develop naturally from actively seeking God together.
